The DUI Services Program is geared to the
needs of individuals facing the consequences of driving under the
influence charges. The program meets the expectations of area courts
and the Department of Transportation for consequences of driving
violations involving alcohol or drugs.
It should be noted that these services are
generally not billable to health insurance. A grant from the State of
Illinois will pay for DUI Court Ordered Evaluation and Drivers Risk
Education Programs for those individuals who meet income guidelines.
Others must pay a flat fee. Individuals attending the Moderate and
Significant Risk Programs are put on a sliding fee scale using grant
funds HSS has been able to secure.
HSS will provide letters to courts or the
Department of Transportation for those individuals completing
services. Services are available daily and in the evenings on Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday.
