If after calling the Call For Help line the consumer needs immediate intervention for a crisis from anywhere within Monroe County, the on-call emergency Human Support Services worker will be reached to respond to your needs. The on-call staff will either speak over the phone or go to where the person in crisis is to offer direct care. HSS can arrange for emergency hospitalization if it is necessary.
